How long have you worked in a caregiving role?
I have been a caretaker for little over a year but I have been in medical field for almost 2.
Why did you choose to become an STNA?
I enjoy helping people to best of my ability. I thought this was a good starting option for me.
What is the best part of being an STNA/caregiver?
Meeting new people all the time and helping them make their lives as good as possible.
What is your proudest moment at work?
I came in to one of my client’s houses and the daughter came to me, crying, thanking me for everything I have done for her family
What do you wish everyone knew about being an STNA/caregiver?
You become almost like family to the clients, so treat them how you would treat your parents.
