Get To Know Chelsea
How long have you been part of the Kennedy Care family?
I have been with Kennedy Care for almost 2 years now.
Why did you choose to join Kennedy Care?
I chose to join the Kennedy Care team because I have a passion for working with kids. I’ve stayed with the company because of the relationships I’ve built with some of the families I’ve gotten to work with. It’s great seeing the kids grow over time and reach new milestones.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job is building connections with the kids and the families. I’ve gotten close with a couple of the families that I have provided care for. One family that I am particularly close with invites me to kids’ birthday parties and dance recitals, so it’s great to have built that bond with them even outside of the job!
What is your proudest moment from your time at Kennedy Care?
My proudest moment at Kennedy Care is probably anytime I work with a new family and the kids end up liking me after being nervous at first.
What is a surprising or fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I have lived in Arizona and Florida.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are going to the gym, going on jogs on nature trails, reading, and shopping.
What’s your favorite season of the year and why?
My favorite season is spring because it’s not too hot and not too cold. My birthday also happens to be in May.
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Christmas because I love giving gifts and being around my family and eating good food!
