Get to Know Darian
How long have you been part of the Kennedy Care family?
I joined the Kennedy Care family in January.
Why did you choose to join Kennedy Care?
I chose Kennedy Care because this is a very open, understanding, and caring company.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of this job is hearing parents convey how comfortable they feel with our childcare workers watching their children. Knowing that they trust us is a great feeling.
What is your proudest moment from your time at Kennedy Care?
My proudest moment was when the first family I worked with asked me to return. My first shift went very well, but going into it I was terrified because I was unsure of how the family would feel towards me. It is a rewarding feeling when families ask you to return to care for their child(ren).
What is a surprising or fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me is that I am a twin, and my younger sisters are twins!
What are your hobbies?
Some of my hobbies include drawing, growing and taking care of my plants, making blankets, and reading! I also love exploring nature.
What’s your favorite season of the year and why?
My favorite season is summer. I love going to the beach and laying in the sun. Watching everyone enjoy the sun and outdoors is great to see.
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Halloween. I love dressing up and spooky season is so much fun!
