Get To Know Krista
How long have you been part of the Kennedy Care family?
I joined the Kennedy Care family at the end of April 2022. I retired in December from 45 years working in the early education field.
Why did you choose to join Kennedy Care?
I was looking for a more flexible, part-time job, but still working with children and families. Kennedy Care was that perfect place for me.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of the job besides flexibility is meeting different families and helping them out with childcare.
What is your proudest moment from your time at Kennedy Care?
Being chosen as LCP of the month is something I am proud of and says what a great company I am working for! A company who acknowledges the work of their employees.
What is a surprising or fun fact about you?
A surprising fun fact about myself is I love Bruce Springsteen. Maybe not so surprising to people who know me but definitely a fun fact.
What are your hobbies?
In my free time I love movies, music, and reading. Also spending time with my friends.
What’s your favorite season of the year and why?
Summer. I love the beach and all bodies of water.
What’s your favorite holiday and why?
I like cooking Thanksgiving dinner and spending time with my daughter, Maggie.
