A MESSAGE FROM
DAVID KENNEDY
CEO & FOUNDER

With the decade drawing to a close, I wanted to take a moment to thank you, our friends, clients, partners, and team, for contributing to another year of growth & transformation.

Upon reflection of 2019, we celebrate our wins, growth, and those we have been given the opportunity to serve for and alongside. From investing in the growth, education, and quality of our team to seizing new ventures, Kennedy Care has made great strides in our journey to excellence.

Sincerely,

Division of Kennedy Care Programs

At the core of our mission is the people we serve. This year, we have successfully divided the services offered to our clients into four uniquely structured programs designed to meet the unique needs of each individual.

A Year of Growth

Our efforts to improve our organization have not gone without return. This year, we experienced a 27% increase in revenue and expanded our partnerships to include:

  • Acquisition of Innovations Health Care in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
  • Sole provider of senior and child back-up care to Michigan State University faculty and staff.

Team Development

Investing in the future of Kennedy Care means investing in our people. To us, providing our front line with the opportunity to learn and grow within our field has taken the spotlight. In addition to adding a department responsible for all things people, here are a few of the notable achievements all thanks to our dedicated team:

  • On-site training facilities
  • A unique virtual learning experience
  • Expansion of benefits offered
  • Employee-Self Service (ESS) System
  • Quarterly all-staff events

Introducing the Life Care Professional

Finding people who are committed to what we do and providing them with the opportunity to make a career out of their passion, elevates them to a whole new level — so that’s exactly what we’ve done: Say hello to Life Care Professional

Life Care Professionals (LCPs) are trained to not only provide care in the traditional sense, but to support individuals in a way that allows them to live their best lives. By finding people who align with our values first and teaching them the skills necessary to become a valuable part of our clients lives, our people are more than “caregivers”, they are Life Care Professionals.

We’re confident the next decade will be our best yet. We’ll continue to provide updates quarterly, but here are a few things you can look forward to the coming year:

  • Safe at Home’s introduction of Nanny Share services.
  • Patriot Care’s veteran-to-veteran initiative focusing on pairing those who have served our country with those who have served our country.
  • A Kennedy Care exclusive mobile application meant to enhance the client and caregiver experience.
