April Vaccine Updates
All Michigan residents, ages 16 and up, are eligible for the Covid-19 vaccination!
Many KC clients, including some that have been loyal clients for years, are asking for immunized caregivers. The safety of our staff and clients is the most important issue, but we are also concerned about the growing impact on staffing. Please consider getting vaccinated to ensure we are able to continue dedicated service to our clients.
After both vaccination doses, send a photo of your Covid-19 Vaccination Record Card to hr@kennedycare.com to be entered into a drawing for a free KC t-shirt!
The first drawing will April 23 so be sure to send the photo as soon as possible. Haven’t received your vaccination yet? We will have repeat drawings in May and June.

📢 Home Care Industry News
$400 billion! That’s the amount of money in a new federal proposal dedicated to improving home and community care programs focused on helping older adults and people with disabilities.
What does this mean for you? Lots of job opportunities! KC already has a significant number of open positions and we expect those numbers to increase.

Remember, LCPs earn $150 each time they help us grow our network of caregivers through a successful referral.

Kennedy Care Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
April is Diversity Month! Traditionally, we use diversity month to celebrate our unique cultures, backgrounds, traditions and society at large. Now more than ever, we’d like to recognize all of our caregivers and their commitment to living our core values throughout personal and societal times of crisis.
On behalf of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, we’d like to invite you all to join us in celebrating our diverse world and workforce. We are working with Michigan Roundtable, a third party, to develop a diversity assessment that will show us what we can be doing better, which we will then turn into an administrative team training. Stay tuned for that this month!

Payroll Reminders
Nobody wants a late paycheck! Late timesheets have been a problem recently. Please be sure to meet the following deadlines so that you receive your payment on time.
- Kennedy Care – Timesheets are due Monday every week by 12 pm (noon)
- Safe At Home – Timesheets are due by midnight of the day the shift is worked.
