Katie Holder
Recruiter: Human Resources
Katie comes to us with a background in recruitment and management in different settings throughout the midwest. She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
Katie enjoys recruiting because it is extremely rewarding to her when she places a candidate in a position that is a great fit for them. Katie recently moved back from Florida but has spent most of her life living in Michigan. She enjoys being outdoors, spending time on the lake, socializing with friends and family, and has a passion for animals.
Jessica Henke
Administrative Coordinator: Patriot Care
Jessica has administrative experience in a variety of settings, most recently as the office coordinator of a small medical office. She has a Master’s degree in administration and enjoys keeping track of and analyzing data.
When she isn’t working, Jessica enjoys gardening, crafting, and working on her hobby farm. She lives in Gaylord with her husband and son.
Welcome to the KC family, Katie and Jessica!
PPE Update! Please Wear Your Masks
As some of you may have already noticed, we are now supplying our Life Care Professionals with cloth masks instead of disposable masks. The new 2-ply masks are washable, reusable, and very comfortable. We think you will love them.
Please remember to always MASK-UP when you are in client’s homes and providing care!

Free Tuition for Essential Workers!
Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced a series of initiatives to help Michigan workers and their families during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, including the “Futures for Frontliners” program to provide a tuition-free pathway to college or a technical certificate to essential workers who don’t have a college degree.
“The Futures for Frontliners program is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to those who have risked their lives on the front lines of this crisis. This program will ensure tuition-free college opportunities and give these dedicated Michiganders an opportunity to earn a technical certificate, associate degree or even a bachelor’s degree,” Governor Whitmer said.
“I want to assure all of our workers we will never forget those of you who stepped up and sacrificed their own health during this crisis. You’re the reason we’re going to get through this.”

Kennedy Care Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
October is Global Diversity Awareness Month! As mentioned in previous editions of our newsletter, Kennedy Care has formed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee that will focus on ensuring that all KC voices are heard, as well as training administrative staff, field staff, and clients to develop lifelong skills that enable us to understand both our own biases and the diverse world around us.
This October, we encourage you to celebrate and pay tribute to our diverse communities, whether local or global, and embrace not only your own culture but others.
Keeping your mind open is a large part of developing new perspectives and connecting with those around you. Please click the links below to join us in celebrating Global Diversity Awareness Month!
