Meet Sara Nowicki, Life Care Professional for Patriot Care!
Hi, I’m Sara! I grew up in Northeastern lower Michigan in the small farming community of Posen. I was raised on a dairy farm and that’s where I got my love of animals. I currently have a 13 year old Shepherd/Chow mix and a few cats.
This year I’ll be married 11 years to my husband David. He’s my shoulder to lean on and ear to vent to when I’m having a rough day. Here we are on our wedding day.
My little brother Nathan and my mom, pictured here, are also very important in my life.
I don’t have a lot of time for extra hobbies right now, but when we can, we like going to Red Wings games, or just watching them on TV, getting out for walks when the weather is nicer, and doing road trips.
And I take any chance I can to get down state to visit my best friend, Megan! Here is a photo of me in her wedding.
I’m currently going to school at Alpena Community College and I’m enrolled in the Medical Assistant program. Here I am on my first day of my program! I also work part time as an LCP with Veterans in the Patriot Care program and find my work to be very rewarding. This will be my 16th year working in home health care in one way or another. I’ve always liked helping others and overcoming the challenges thrown my way.
Sara, thank you for sharing your story! Your dedication to caregiving and honoring our Veterans is so honorable and we are so fortunate to have you on our team!
