Get To Know Terra
How long have you been part of the Kennedy Care family?
I joined the Kennedy Care team in July of 2022.
Why did you choose to join Kennedy Care?
I chose to join Kennedy Care because of their down to earth values and how warm and welcoming everyone was when I joined!
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is getting to work long-term with one family – I get to form such a great connection with them and I really enjoy going to work!
What is your proudest moment from your time at Kennedy Care?
My proudest moment from my time at Kennedy Care was after I finished the CPR/First Aid training. I felt fully confident in my ability to caretake with my previous experience and having learned even more from the training.
What is a surprising or fun fact about you?
I enjoy backpacking! I’ve been to Canada a few times to backpack and went to Grand Island in northern Michigan more recently.
What are your hobbies?
I don’t have many “hobbies,” I’m more of a jack of all trades when it comes to what I like to do in my free time. From resin art to watercolor, gardening and movie-going, I tend to keep myself busy!
What’s your favorite season of the year and why?
My favorite season of the year is fall! I love seeing the colors turn and the cooler weather. I enjoy all the activities that summer brings but nothing beats a fresh fall day.
What’s your favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is definitely Halloween! I don’t usually dress up but I love Halloween movies, decorating, and seeing everyone’s costumes when I hand out candy.
