Get to Know Alesia
How long have you been part of the Kennedy Care family?
A little over 3 months.
Why did you choose to join Kennedy Care?
A friend of a client referred me to Kennedy Care.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Helping others and making peoples’ days better and easier.
What is your proudest moment from your time at Kennedy Care?
Putting a smile on my clients’ faces. Always giving clients the best care possible. And constantly learning – whether it be about healthcare measures or life lessons from my clients.
What is a surprising or fun fact about you?
My passion has always been helping others. I have one client with Kennedy Care and three others outside of KC. Growing up, since the age of 8 I moved into a lot of different homes including being in the foster care system. I believe that has shaped me into the caring, loving, and hardworking person I am today.
What are your hobbies?
Reading, nature walks, puzzles, and watching movies!
What is your favorite season of the year and why?
Fall because of all the colors in nature and the weather is perfect – not too hot or too cold.
What is your favorite holiday and why?
Easter because the flowers start to bloom. I also love Easter festivities like coloring eggs and hunting for eggs with my son.
